Resolved Question: Hiring movers from NY to Florida?

I want to hire movers to move my stuff from Rochester, NY to Daytona Beach, FL. I'm trying to get a general idea of how much money I need to save. I hate searching online, because they always make you fill out a ton of info and then the moving companies NEVER stop calling. I figure I should have about 2 grand saved just for moving expenses. I don't have much, but a bunch of boxes, a bed, tv, dresser, kitchen table, coffee table. No washer/dryer or appliances. What do you think?... Read More »
